Job Opportunity at Cambridge Immerse
Cambridge Immerse is a two week residential educational experience that allows participants aged 15-18 to gain an unrivalled insight into a chosen discipline, ranging from the arts to the sciences, that takes place in August 2015 (approximately 8th-23rd). We’re looking for Cambridge University undergraduates to fill positions as summer mentors. Salaries are very competitive, and it’s also a great way spend some extra time in Cambridge this summer, whilst contributing to an enjoyable and memorable programme and gaining valuable experience and skills along the way.

Gilbert & Sullivan society, the sorcerer auditions

The Gilbert & Sullivan Society’s production of The Sorcerer, taking place this September, is auditioning for cast members! The show runs from 7 Sep – 12 Sep at the beautiful open-air Minack Theatre in Cornwall, after intensive rehearsals in the two weeks immediately prior. To audition, simply prepare a song (it doesn’t have to be G&S, though if it isn’t, bring the sheet music so we can accompany you); extracts will be provided on the door.

Auditions are taking place:
– Sunday 7 June: 12:30 pm to 4 pm – Christ’s College Music Practice Room
– Tuesday 9 June: 2 pm to 7 pm – Jesus College Picken Room
– Thursday 11 June: 7 pm to 10 pm – Christ’s College Music Practice Room

SJC JCR food drive

We’ll be putting boxes in your kitchens/ at the bottom of your staircases at the end of term. Please fill them with any left over non-perishable food goods you might have left over. These will then be donated to a local food bank.
