Ski Clare

We are travelling to Avoriaz in in the French Alps for the 3rd-11th of January 2014, for a fantastic week of Skiing/snowboarding, drinking hot chocolate in mountain restaurants, slightly warmer fun at the water park, “Come dine with me” meal swaps, a traditional french meal (mmm cheese!), fancy dress nights out, complete with cheap french wine.

The base cost is slightly unsure at the moment, as we haven’t filled all the spaces and so may need to charge slightly over the original cost of £324 unless we get 5 more bookings, but it will not be more than £352, which includes coach travel, 6 day Avoriaz lift pass, and a summit week wristband (cheaper drinks in resort).

Avoriaz is a fantastic resort, completely traffic free and nestled in the middle of the enormous Portes du Soleil ski area, spanning the border between France and Switzerland it is one of the largest in the world! As well as providing a great range of challenges for experienced skiers, it is also perfect for beginners. The local area includes beginner slopes, lovely tree-lined runs and blue slopes down from the nearest peaks in the shadow of Mont Blanc.

Also available are snow sport equipment rentals, clothing rental, lessons, lift pass upgrade, insurance, and a beginners package (equipment and lessons deal) which includes all you need to have a great first ski trip. More information/pricing is available on our website:

Join the Cambridge Impronauts for an evening of untold terror, laughter and music as they take the world of horror, spin it around, kick it down the stairs and stick a moustache on it. Audience suggestions give lifeblood to a monstrous creation, meaning that a new tale of woe is constructed every single night.

Scream as the Archmage Dung Beetle unleashes an army of resurrected fridges to blast a hole in the Boyzone layer. Cry out in horror as the Devil himself takes on the Corpus Chronophage at Connect Four to see who will gain custody of George Lucas’ soul. Cackle with malevolent glee as the mutated form of Alan Sugar’s head transplanted onto the body of a tapir runs amuck in Norman Bates’ kitchen.

If you don’t come out laughing, you won’t come out at all!
