Equal Opportunities

Hi everyone, I am Mandy, your new Equal Opportunities officer! We all know John's is a very diverse community with people of different nationalities, ethnicities, cultures, sexes, sexual orientations, and abilities. JCRC has always been committed to promote and maintain equal opportunities for everyone in St. John's and across the University as a whole. The group that I represent include (but are not limited to) Women, Men, International students, Ethnic minorities, LBGT (lesbian, bisexual, gay and transgender), and students with disabilities. A sub-committee with representatives of all the aforementioned groups is already in place to assist me with the work. A new sub-committee will be elected soon. 

I am very easy-going and approachable, so please feel free to get in touch with me (spmt2@cam.ac.uk) and the sub-committee if you need any advice, information, or a strictly confidential chat. I can also put you in touch with societies, groups and campaigns at University level that you might find interesting or helpful. Whether it’s a problem or something that interests you, just let me know. ;)
